The PRM 1000 gearbox is a reliable solution for marine applications requiring high power transmission capacity and continuous operation.
Thanks to its hydraulic system, it is suitable for installations with medium and high power engines, both in pleasure craft and commercial applications.

DESCRIPTION:
PRM Newage hydraulic gearboxes are designed to ensure reliability, ease of operation and long service life.
The hydraulic multi-disc clutch system allows full power transmission in both ahead and astern, without the need for adjustment.
The PRM 1000 model ensures smooth engagement and consistent operation, reducing stress and wear on components.
The PRM 1000 is available in different configurations to suit installation requirements:
PRM1000A: angled output version (8°), ideal for installations with inclined shaft alignment
PRM1000D: drop centre configuration with output flange positioned below the input shaft
SPECIFICATIONS:
Type: Hydraulic
Application: Marine
Usage: Pleasure and commercial
Available configurations: Drop centre (D) and angled output (A)
Operation: Hydraulic transmission with progressive engagement
For correct gearbox selection, it is recommended to always verify the technical specifications and compatibility with the installed engine.

Maximum operating speeds:
3500 rpm (intermittent) – 3000 rpm (continuous)
The values are expressed in kW according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
For diesel engines, generally operating at lower speeds compared to smaller units, these values can be used as a reference for gearbox selection, taking into account engine characteristics and operating conditions.
Torque (Nm) depends on engine speed and is not a fixed value.
